About the role As a Fuel Point Assistant, you are integral to the success of V/Line's Operations Group. You will ensure the safe and efficient fuelling of our rolling stock, providing a vital service that contributes to our commitment to safety and reliability.
Key Accountabilities Include: Undertaking the fuelling of V/Line rolling stock as required.Ensuring VLocity windscreen washer bottles are filled during shifts.Maintaining vehicle washing facilities and managing fuel writing tasks.Washing VLocity windscreens during fuelling operations.Operating the turntable for locomotive placement into maintenance.Completing administrative tasks related to fuel usage monitoring.Building collaborative networks with internal and external customers.Identifying and implementing improvements for customer experience.About you We are looking for candidates who align with our values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership, and human rights.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following: Completion of Year 12 or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a safety-critical environment.Flexibility to work afternoon/night shifts on a rotating roster, including public holidays and weekends.In addition to free myki travel, we offer:

Remuneration for this position is Fuel Point Assistant ($35.9642 per hour) in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administration Employees Agreement 2023 or V/Line Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2019.
