As a key player in the Defence industry, UGL plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide.
From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.
As a result of expanding scope of works within UGL's portfolio, we are currently seeking Defence Fuel Installation Operators (DFI Operators) to join our O&M team in Sydney, NSW.
This is a unique opportunity to join a Tier 1 services provider on a long-term operations and maintenance contract within the defence sector.
The Role Lead by an Operations Supervisor, the role of DFI Operator will be located around Sydney's Ports, including North, City and Southern, supporting a major fuel installation in the area.
The Fuel Operator will be tasked with various operational and functional roles around the installation.Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing.Experience in a similar environment would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments.What you will Need Along with experience relevant to each role above, you will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee.
We expect that the successful applicant will have the following:
Defence specific training will be advantageous; however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required.Safety is at the forefront of everything you do!Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance.Live locally or willing to relocate to Sydney, NSW or surrounding suburbs.What we Offer This is an opportunity to join UGL as a full-time employee on a long-term contract within the Defence sector.
