The FS&WS Manager will lead the WAU FS&WS Team in the Services delivery and will be responsible for meeting the FS&WS KPIs.
Your main responsibilities are: Lead, coach, mentor & manage the team effectivelyEnsure FS & WS processes are implemented in all relevant sitesStrive to enhance team spirit and a high-performance cultureContinuously improve motivation and results of the teamEnsure jobs are coordinated and executed to full customer satisfaction, both internal and externalEstablish mid and long term resource planning & training programmes for staffImplement effective procedures ensuring job margins are monitored whilst in progress and invoices are sent out immediately on job completionTimely preparation of field service quotations to internal requestsSmooth cooperation with Services Sales organisation and other business unitsProvide staff with adequate equipment, tools and kitsEnsure that the Workshop is managed efficientlyRecord, maintenance and inspection of equipment & toolsCalibration records for workshopRepresentation Field Service & Workshop in meetings and eventsUpdate and maintain exchange component stockDemonstrate commitment to QEHS and actively participate in Wärtsilä initiativesBe a team player: support colleagues and superiors, share information, contribute to a friendly work atmosphereYour accountabilities are, but not limited to: Utilization & Invoiced Utilization rates (UR and IUR)Margin and department cost of Field Service & WorkshopCapital investments for tools and equipmentTime to InvoicingClean and updated FS/WS WIP (work in progress)Skilled & Competence development of Field Service & Workshop personnelQuality of workQuality and Time Lag of Service ReportsZero injury timeAs an ideal candidate, you should have: B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent level of educationExperience with Wärtsilä products and processes10 years of progressive experience in managing resources, operations and workshopAustralian citizen or with PR visaWhy you and us: We have an amazing team and a clear purpose to exist.
