About the role
My client is looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join their team and take on the management of a high-value commercial project.
This is a well-regarded construction company with a strong reputation in delivering complex, high-value projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities for the role
Oversee the execution and administration of all project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and managing variations and claims.
Work closely with the project manager and stakeholders to track progress, ensure milestones are met, and manage budgets effectively.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear, consistent, and professional communication.
Monitor the financial performance of the project, ensuring costs are controlled, payments are processed, and potential risks are mitigated.
Prepare, manage, and update project documentation, including progress reports, contractual records, and any other necessary paperwork.
Identify potential risks to the project timeline or budget and work proactively to manage and resolve them.
Ensure that all works are completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
Skills & experience
Must have experience managing high-value projects (over $30M) with the ability to oversee complex, multi-faceted construction projects.

Adaptability: The role requires someone who can transition seamlessly from managing large, long-term projects (valued at $2M per week) to smaller, fast-paced assignments of around $3M.

Approach: A practical and grounded approach, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of performance culture.

Benefits
Our next Senior Contracts Administrator will be engaged for a permanent, full-time role based in Sydney, where the successful candidate will oversee a $40M mixed-use commercial project.
This role attracts a $160-$200K package.
