You enjoy developing others and genuinely bringing joy to peoples' lives - and it just so happens you'll be doing just that in an award-winning hotel.The Front Office Supervisor will support the Front Office Manager by leading our Front Office & Swiss Service team through building trust and relationships by nurturing a work culture that celebrates diversity, inclusiveness, belonging, growth and development and by inspiring colleagues to deliver heartfelt experiences for each and every guest.To support the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department and inspiring the Front Office team to follow all service standardsTo consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service while creating heartfelt experiencesTo communicate through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operationTo develop colleagues through a meaningful training programTo assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayTo follow department policies, procedures and service standardsTo follow all safety policiesAnswer all incoming calls and accurately transfer callers to the appropriate extensions according to the resort's standardsCommunicate internal and external guest requests via applicable resort softwareMaintain and monitor the Royal Service software systemEnsure all requests logged in the Royal Service software are followed up according to the hotel's standardsAny other tasks that may be assignedPhysical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:Frequent standing, walking and sitting throughout shiftOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsQualificationsYOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:Previous PMS experience preferredComputer savvy in Microsoft Window applications an assetStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAdditional InformationWHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU:Hourly Rate for Position: $28.10Employee Benefit Card offering discounted rates at Accor worldwideLearning & Development programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within our property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibilities, such as Sustainability, Diversity, Inclusion & BelongingComprehensive Benefit Package which offers:Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability & AD&D insurance, Accidental Injury Insurance, Hospital Support, Critical Illness Insurance, 401K plan, Paid leave such as Vacation, Personal, Maternity/Paternity and Holiday.
