About the role We are seeking an experienced, vibrant and dynamic Part Time Front Office Supervisor, that will bring individuality, creativity and passion to a professional and dynamic Front Office Team. Kennigo Hotel is a boutique hotel that features 107 guest rooms, a busy hotel lobby café open 7 days a week and 4 conference rooms. Key responsibilities: Hotel Supervisor where you will be based on the front desk welcoming and bidding farewell to our guests during check in and check out Ensuring our guest's needs are exceeded Managing the day to day operations of the hotel Customer service duties including check ins, check outs and managing any guest enquiries. Ensure policies, procedures, rates and general hotel information are communicated to the team. Be proficient in all front and back office equipment/systems/programs. Cash handling, electronic payments and responding to email/enquiries. Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of all guests during your shift Implement training programs for all front office employees, conduct new employee inductions/onboarding and skills training. Shift work to suit a flexible lifestyle Auditing and reconciling Providing support to other departments as required Can work autonomously and in a team Problem solving The Role: Full Time Position Previous Front Office Experience is required 38 hours per week A rotating roster where you will work AM shifts (07:30-15:30) & PM shifts (15:30-23:30) A rotating roster that also includes weekdays, weekends and Public Holidays Incredible team member discounts from your first day on-the-job. 50% off stays at EVT hotels – Rydges, QT, Atura, Independent Collection, JUCY Snooze and more. $2 movie tickets, plus Moonlight, Gold Class, Candy Bar discounts and more. Skills & experience: Be guest obsessed and continually look for ways to add value to our customer experience and prioritizing our guests needs as this is our everyday business goals A self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised Your true passion is hotels, where you would have worked before in either a 4/5 star establishment with Opera Property Management System Superb organisational skills & attention to detail Exemplary communication & interpersonal skills Immaculate personal presentation Excellent time management skills & ability to multi-task in a busy environment Ability to work autonomously & as part of a cohesive team Efficient, reliable, takes initiative & displays strong problem solving skills Be impeccably groomed with a smile that lights up the room!
