As we move into the summer months, we have the opportunity to expand our team of Front Office staff and we want you! This is a perfect position for someone who loves customer service, enjoys variety in their working day and likes to work as part of a team, but is also comfortable to work unsupervised when required.
The Front Office team form part of our Operations Department, meaning not only will you be trained in Front Office Reception, but also in Reservations and Housekeeping.
This will ensure you are able to efficiently cover other areas of the Resort when required, whilst developing great transferable hospitality skills.
This is the perfect all rounder role for people who love to keep busy!
This position has the opportunity to be either Casual or Full Time depending on the applicant.
As we are a hospitality venue, you will be required to work a variety of shifts ranging from Monday - Sunday, between the hours of 06:30am and 8:00pm.
Responsibilities: Welcome Guests to the Resort in a warm and friendly manner.Handle accommodation inquiries & process reservations.Perform and ensure a smooth check-in & check-out experience.Deliver a high level of professional and friendly customer service that will enhance guest satisfaction.Display a solid customer service approach and deal efficiently with complaints.Assist with specific guest requirements to enhance their stay.Ensure all aspects of front office / reception run smoothly and effectively.Provide assistance in Housekeeping when required.Requirements: Previous experience working in an accommodation venue in a Front Office Reception or Housekeeping role is advantageous (but not essential).Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.Customer service focused with a passion for delivering high levels of service.A high level of communication and organizational skills.Ability to provide a police clearance or be willing to obtain one that is no less than three months old.Full working rights to work in Australia.Current Drivers Licence.Please note that we do not offer staff accommodation.
