Within our digital miniapps capability sub-domain we're looking for a Senior Consultant Engineer (Tech lead) to join our service and to help deliver our enterprise micro front ends across payments, card and accounts.
What You'll Bring: Fast paced environment, with leading edge technology and innovation.Be part of an inclusive and collaborative team environment.The position can consider only applicants based in Melbourne or willing to relocate.In this Senior Consultant Engineer role, you will: Deliver complex digital experience solutions to our customers and focus on those experiences being relevant, accessible, resilient, and simple.Apply your engineering skills to make our digital channels as user-friendly as possible, and to make our customer experience a fantastic ride.Coaching & mentoring of team to uplift skills and knowledge to perform their role to be compliant with FSRA requirements and external legislation in a professional and ethical manner.Execute & drive hands-on design, implementation of best practice CI/CD across the Domain.Shape, design, develop, support & implement software delivery in alignment with the roadmap.Maintain an understanding of best practice practices within own specialist area, and IT in general.Work as an effective team member, supporting peers and recognising the contributions of others to ensure the achievement of team goals.What You'll Bring: Extensive experience in Front-end development with a desire of simplification, automation and reusability.Excellent technical skills in React and Node JS.Ideally strong experience in Graphql.Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS or alternatively Microsoft Azure.Strong understanding of complex integration patterns in large organisations.Experience supporting a production service in a DevOps friendly environment.Strong analytical skills and proven track record solving difficult problems.Ability to provide technical leadership to 10 engineers (2 squads) and coach them through the development lifecycle.Security first mindset, Team player, outstanding social and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring, knowledge sharing and peer programming.A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone: We know that our people make us who we are.
