This React role is a senior engineering position where candidates need to have full exposure across the end-to-end software development life cycle.Job ResponsibilitiesOwn the frontend deliverables of allocated projectsDevelop high-quality, responsive, and scalable web applications using the latest technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and deliver user-centric solutionsDrive the development process and ensure adherence to coding standards, software development best practices, and quality guidelines while being on the tools when requiredStay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend developmentWork with project managers to estimate project timelines, identify risks and dependencies, and manage project deliveryParticipate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutionsFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvementAssist the Head of Frontend Technology in realizing the Frontend Team goalsAd hoc duties where requiredQualificationsBS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent7+ years of work experience7+ years of experience working in React or similar frameworks, with strong JavaScript knowledgeExperience in Node.js as a backend framework is a plusProficient in writing testable code using Jest or similar frameworksProficiency in HTML and CSS frameworks like Tailwind or similarExperience working with microservice architecturesExperience using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or a similar tool in an Agile-Scrum frameworkExperience in working in Agile and Scrum teamsExperience developing for CMS and Commerce systems at the enterprise levelProficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutionsProficient understanding of accessibility tools and delivering WCAG accessible solutionsAbility to mentor other developers of various skill levelsAlthough the preference for this role is for React Engineers to live in Sydney, this role is WFH and can be worked from anywhere in Australia.
