Front End Assistant - Seasonal

Responsibilities: Greet members and assist them in loading orders onto the conveyor belt.Determine member's packing preferences and answer questions about special promotions.Pack member orders into boxes and load them back into trolley or flatbed.Check packaging for tampering and follow all safety and security procedures.Assist members in loading orders into their cars when required.Assist the cashier with correct stock counts, packing and unpacking of carts, running for items required by members or cashiers, keeping the register stocked with supplies, and completing item lookups.Assist cashiers in scanning large items remaining on carts and follow departmental procedures and policies.Maintain cleanliness of the register area and general front end area, including cleaning spills and maintaining a safe workspace.Retrieve trolleys and flatbeds from the parking area using correct safety equipment and maintaining a clean lot area.Perform related tasks such as setup and closing duties for the department, including returning products, stocking registers, and housekeeping.Non-Essential Functions and Tasks: Assist other areas in the department as necessary.Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.Operate mechanical trash compactor/cardboard baler.Job Ref: AU2724W.000412
