The Role: As the first face our members see when they enter the club, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional experiences from the moment they walk in.
Whether it is assisting with inquiries, guiding new and existing members, or helping them find exactly what they need, your warm, professional service will make an impression.
This dynamic role will keep you engaged, as you will switch between greeting members in person, answering phones, addressing inquiries, and showcasing our retail products.
With every interaction, you will be providing our members with an energetic, welcoming experience.
In this role you will be required to: Welcome members and visitors, providing top-notch service at the front desk. Answer calls and handle member inquiries with professionalism. Use our computer and software systems to manage member details, issue access key tags, process purchases, create bookings for recovery services, and assist with class bookings and app navigation. Gain knowledge of our supplements, apparel, and recovery services to make effective sales to members and guests. Ensure a clean, organised environment by keeping the reception and all areas of the facility tidy and restocking supplement shelves as needed. Perform opening and closing duties promptly and efficiently. Follow directions, prioritise tasks, and complete them within set timelines. Perform additional related duties as needed. What you'll need to succeed: Proven customer service experience with effective communication skills. A positive, "can-do" attitude with a drive for learning and growth. Passion for health and fitness, with a commitment to the industry. Reliability, proactivity, punctuality, and a well-presented demeanour. A dedicated work ethic and commitment to excellence. Self-motivation and adaptability, with strong multitasking abilities and initiative. Computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems. Ability to communicate and uphold company policies and procedures with both customers and staff. Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or a willingness to acquire them). Flexibility to work a variety of hours to support gym operations (shift schedules provided in advance). Australian working rights. Job Type: Casual
Pay: $29.33 – $35.35 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
