What We're Looking For Proven supervisory experience in concrete works, remediation, or FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer). Experience managing access and temporary works subcontractors. Willingness to work across Australia. Familiarity with mining site operations. Your Key Responsibilities Lead by Example: Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safe work procedures. Collaborate on QSE Plans: Work closely with the Project Engineer to develop and implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental plans. Enhance Construction Methods: Utilize your construction expertise to innovate and improve site operations. Supervise Daily Operations: Assist the site team in problem-solving and managing operational risks. Mentor and Manage Your Team: Ensure your team possesses the right skills and attitudes, supporting their growth and performance. Monitor and Report: Keep track of site productivity and promptly report any variations or delays. Conduct Safety Briefings: Lead safety pre-starts, toolbox talks, and inspections. Address Safety Incidents: Manage any incidents in partnership with the Project Engineer. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of supervisory or equivalent experience in the construction industry. Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to leadership. Willingness to be a working supervisor and engage directly on-site. Solid understanding of safety regulations and guidelines in construction. Experience in safety documentation preparation and implementation. A clean full driver's license, EWP ticket, and forklift license are required. Experience in marine, concrete repair, or cathodic protection is a plus.
