Be Personnel have a new vacancy to work with our client as a Freshwater Operative.
Our client is responsible for the breeding, rearing, and processing of superior salmon in the pristine waters of the West Highlands and Islands.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will work as directed to complete the daily operational tasks of your assigned RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) units.
We are offering both rotational shift work (2 weeks on/off) as well as Monday to Friday core work.
Role and Responsibilities:Feeding and monitoring the fish stocks on a daily basisOperation of manual and automatic feeding systemsGrading, splitting, and treatment of stocksStrictly observing hygiene protocolsSupporting with training of other staff within the businessMonitoring water qualityMaintaining equipmentSupporting fish health and growthAttention to detail through all tasksStructured approach to all work tasksIn addition to a competitive salary of between £25,501 and £31,371.31 plus on-call premiums and overtime rates, our client also offers the following:
