Our Role We are excited to offer the role of part-time / full-time French Teacher, beginning in term one 2025. Reporting to the Head of LOTE, you will be working in a dynamic and collaborative team working towards achieving great outcomes for our students.
Responsibilities include: Deliver outstanding teaching that supports strong student learning outcomes across a variety of ability levels Plan and execute learning programs that challenge all students, and effectively use technology to enhance learning Possess a thorough understanding of contemporary learning approaches and demonstrate the ability to critically reflect on and improve teaching practices Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, fostering an environment conducive to learning and enthusiasm Engage with passion in all areas of Kingswood College life Uphold the values and vision of Kingswood College, contributing positively to our community Successful applicants will have: Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration Experience teaching French in the secondary school Passion for working with children and developing their learning and social skills Strong organisational and planning skills, with an ability to manage multiple demands and timelines Strong data literacy skills, utilises student data to improve learning outcomes Differentiate the curriculum to challenge and extend students at their point of need A collaborative and team-focused, growth mindset Join a community of dedicated and inspiring educational leaders An inclusive work environment aligned with our values Opportunities for professional growth and development Access to wellbeing programs and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) How to Apply Please submit your application, including a cover letter and current CV (summarising your experience and qualifications), in one single PDF to
