Your New Role - Quality Control Coordinator Reporting to the Warehouse 3 PL Lead/Account Manager, as a Quality Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing project performance and implementing efficient work processes.
Perform Quality Check and accuracy of scanned cargo in the cages/Handling Units and perform physical transfer of the same from cage to Handling Unit/Bin and scan cargo into consolidated bins/HU ensuring that initial scanning in cages matches secondary scan.
Register any discrepancies in accuracy and perform corrective action to ensure accuracy.
Perform secondary scan and quality check of container manifests ensuring the accuracy of manifests at all times.
Regularly perform stocktake of cargo and ensure movement of cargo is within the timeframe so no cargo is left sitting on the floor for an extended period of time.
Oversee cargo in Discrepancy area and regularly perform stocktake of Discrepancy Cargo and ensure movement of resolved discrepancies.
Ensure that Piece Checking Team separates, segregates and flags cargo in accordance to the client's requirements but not limited to: Air Freight, Shut Down Cargo, Direct Purchase (DP) orders, Contractor cargo, Project Cargo etc.
Manage stakeholder interactions.
Ensure the operational team has the appropriate and adequate resources.
What you will need to succeed 5+ years Warehouse Logistics experience.
Quality Control Coordinator experience.
Complete understanding of company values.
English spoken and written – CEFR Level 5.
IT – Intermediate Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Data compiling and processing skills through Excel.
Honesty, Integrity, and Reliability.
Highly developed Delegation and Empowerment capabilities.
Proven decision-making capabilities.
Eager to learn Supply Chain business models.
Ability to represent the Company at all levels and to build strong client and customer relationships.
