The role involves ensuring smooth coordination of shipment movements, documentation processing, and active communication with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Collect, process, and arrange forwarding-related documentation for shipment movements, including offsite deliveries when required.Assist in ensuring the timely and prompt dispatch of all consignments, adhering to agreed schedules and deadlines.Monitor and track all export and import consignments, keeping stakeholders updated on progress. Respond to customer inquiries efficiently.Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, agents, and other external partners to foster professional relationships.Register export and import jobs as necessary to maintain organized and accurate records.Support the development and implementation of systems and processes for new clients to streamline operations.Collate and process all related paperwork accurately and promptly to ensure proper documentation flow.Ensure all company databases are maintained accurately and up to date with relevant shipment, client, and job information.Assist in providing quotations to clients regarding worldwide shipment rates and schedules.Support communication with overseas agents regarding rates, schedules, and service parameters to ensure smooth operations.Collaborate with airlines and shipping lines for rates, schedules, and service details.Process and facilitate invoicing for clients and manage payable invoices for job-related costs.Ensure job files are completed, collating, organizing, and scanning all relevant documentation for easy access.Actively participate as a team member, contributing to achieving service levels and fostering strong communication.Perform additional duties as required to support the overall operations of the team.Key Competencies & Company Values: Maintain a safety-first attitude in all aspects of work, prioritizing the well-being of all team members.Deliver high-quality service, ensuring customers feel valued.Work as part of a united team, striving to deliver on promises.Build strong, trusting relationships through integrity and transparency.Take initiative and responsibility to deliver excellence.Foster a supportive environment where everyone's contributions are valued.Qualifications & Experience:Essential: IATA Dangerous Goods (DG) Qualified.Full valid driving license.RACA Cargo Security Clearance Certificate.More than 5 years of experience in logistics and international freight forwarding.Proficient in MS Office and Cargo Wise systems.Desirable: Strong clerical and administrative skills.Experience in customer service, with a focus on ACE (Attentive, Considerate, Efficient) service.Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.Proactive, with a customer-focused attitude.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
