Laurent Bakery is looking for an experienced forklift driver to work in our freezer to maintain exceptional product standards and ensure the smooth running of our factories.
This is a physically active role based in our dry good stores and involves:
Having a current forklift license ideally with both counterbalance and high reachControlling stock levelsReceipting of goodsMaintaining the cleanliness of the freezerAssisting with loading/unloading of trucksLoad refrigerated containersMust have experience working in a freezer environment (-27 degrees)Control and dispatch trucksAble to lift up to 25kgsAs one of our new team members you will have:
Excellent comprehension of written and verbal instructionsAbility to follow instructions to the letterProven ability to work effectively as part of a teamStrong work ethics and a positive attitudeAbility to be flexible under changing environment and workloadsAbility and willingness to learn multiple processesAbility to show initiative and question when in doubtAbility to work as a team member and autonomouslyThis role is pivotal in providing all our cafés and customers with the bread that has made Laurent Bakery famous, Australian wide.
