We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and performance. You will oversee the strategic and operational management of our IT systems, ensuring the efficient delivery of technology services and solutions to support our business goals. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional organisational, technical, and problem-solving skills. You will manage a team of IT professionals, drive initiatives to enhance technology infrastructure, and play a key role in aligning IT operations with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and technology solutions across the organisation. Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise operations and align with business goals. Oversee the maintenance and management of hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems to ensure high availability and performance. Monitor and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology investments and resource allocation. Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance IT services and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with organisational and industry-specific security protocols and regulations. Act as the escalation point for critical technical issues, providing guidance and resolution strategies. Foster professional development within the IT team through mentoring, training, and performance management. Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in a senior IT support or IT management role. Advanced expertise in Windows, macOS, Linux and networking, including VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with experience handling complex technical issues. Exceptional English communication skills – proficient in drafting documentation and articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Proven ability to manage high-pressure environments and prioritise tasks effectively. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with experience mentoring junior IT staff. Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace) and SaaS management. Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, including server management, virtualisation, and storage solutions. Strong organisational skills and a detail-oriented mindset to implement IT strategies and ensure compliance. Self-driven with the ability to lead initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
