Exciting Opportunity: ASO6 Freedom of Information Officer Are you an experienced FOI professional ready to step into a key public sector role?
Our client is seeking an ASO6 Freedom of Information Officer to join their Business Services team for a 3–6 month contract, starting in mid-December 2024.
About the Role This critical position requires a skilled FOI professional to support the effective administration of the Freedom of Information Act 1991.
Key responsibilities include: Efficiently administering the Freedom of Information Act 1991 .
Applying specialised knowledge and judgement to process FOI applications and make determinations in line with legislative requirements.
Preparing draft responses for internal and external reviews of FOI determinations.
Providing expert advice to stakeholders to support informed decision-making and effective service delivery.
Meeting strict deadlines and handling time-sensitive tasks with precision.
Role Details Location: Adelaide CBD Classification: ASO6 Duration: 3–6 months Start Date: Mid-December 2024 Work Arrangements: Flexible work-from-home options can be negotiated About You We are looking for an accredited FOI Officer with: Significant public sector experience, ideally within high-profile agencies.
Proven ability to work autonomously while contributing to team success.
A proactive approach to managing deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
