Reporting to the Trust Account Manager, the Trust Account Assistant will assist in managing the trust account functions for our residential portfolio across NSW, VIC, QLD, and WA.
The role will liaise with landlords and tenants, and with our Finance team and Property Management team.
About the role: Liaising efficiently with the Senior Property Manager, Finance Manager, other team members, and tenants and landlords to provide financial information Building effective working relationships with these stakeholders Assisting with the preparation of trust account files, and annual audits Receipting daily rents and completing daily bank reconciliations Disbursing landlords and creditors bi-monthly and completing end-of-month reconciliations Paying landlord outgoings Issuing tenant invoices Assisting with coordinating trust account best-practice procedures and manuals Assisting with coordinating internal forms Providing monthly reporting on bank reconciliations, unpresented cheques, adjustments and outstanding deposits About you: Tertiary qualifications in accounting or financial services Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Property Management Strong accountancy and negotiation skills Proficiency with financial systems (Excel and Property Tree are desirable but not essential) Excellent reporting and communication skills Don't quite meet every single requirement but still believe you'd be a great fit for the job?
