What we are looking for: We are seeking a Senior Technician to join our team at the Brolga Theatre, where you will operate cutting-edge equipment, oversee smooth event execution, and mentor a talented team.

What your day will look like: Ensure operation & maintenance of technical & stage equipment. Collaborate with the Technical Operations Supervisor to provide cost estimates for production and technical requirements for events at the Centre and external venues. Supervise and provide training and assistance to casual technical staff where required. Responsible for Venue Supervisor role at performances to ensure safe operations for Back of House. Provide post event equipment use and staffing reports to the Technical Operations Supervisor. What you'll need for success: Previous Theatre Technician experience in a live theatre production. Excellent organisational skills. Demonstrate previous experience in live events. Experience performing routine maintenance of technical and stage equipment. Strong awareness of workplace health and safety. Physical capabilities. Current Drivers Licence. What's nice to have: Tertiary qualifications in Technical Production. Doggers/ Riggers High Risk work licence.
