About the Company:
Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing construction company based on the Gold Coast, serving the broader Queensland area, including South Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Scenic Rim, and Rockhampton.
With a dedicated team of over 50 professionals and a trusted network of subcontractors, they specialise in delivering top-quality residential construction projects, including custom homes and reconfigured layouts.
Having successfully completed over 250 residential builds since 2020, they are known for their commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and innovation in the construction industry.
The company is looking to expand its team and is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the construction of a growing portfolio of residential projects across the region.
Role Overview: As Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of approximately 80 residential projects annually, managing everything from initial planning through to project handover.
Your role will be key to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the company's high standards for quality and safety.
You will be the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and timely project execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a track record of delivering residential construction projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Manage Projects: Oversee 80+ residential construction projects annually, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and communicating project progress effectively.
Conduct site meetings to provide updates and address concerns.
Budget Control & Financial Management: Manage procurement, materials, and budgets to ensure projects stay within financial targets.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with site managers, builders, and subcontractors to ensure timely and safe project delivery.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all projects meet industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in securing necessary permits and approvals.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, resolving them in a timely manner to keep projects on track.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a project team, ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities, and that project objectives are met.
Experience & Qualifications: Project Management Experience: At least 4 years of experience in residential construction project management, with a degree in Construction or Project Management.
Proven Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage teams, interact with clients, and ensure smooth project delivery.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in construction project management software and tools.
Attention to Detail & Problem Solving: A high level of attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure the successful delivery of each project.
Queensland Experience: Experience in the Queensland construction industry is highly preferred.
A current QLD Driver's License is required, and a trade background is an advantage.
