As Assistant Night Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Hotel's Night Manager to lead the department and inspire and motivate the Night Porter to deliver exceptional service.
The day-to-day technical requirements of this role will see you completing the duties of a Night Auditor/Supervisor in addition to stepping into higher duties and taking responsibility for the leadership of the department when the Night Manager is not on shift.
As a dedicated people leader, you will promote teamwork and uphold service quality through effective communication and coordination with other departments.
Supporting the training and development of the Night Porter, you will nurture their growth and potential.
Inspire and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service, focusing on Brand Standards, Loyalty Recognition, and effective problem handling.
Welcoming guests upon arrival, you will engage with them meaningfully to ensure their needs are met, responding promptly and gracefully to feedback and complaints, building lasting relationships that enhance guest satisfaction.
When you are the sole Manager on shift, you will be required to step into the position of first responder and key holder, responding promptly to emergency situations.
You will champion hazard identification through regular inspections, evaluating risks, and implementing control measures to create a safe and secure environment.
Upholding high levels of hotel security, you will demonstrate attentiveness to individuals entering the hotel and raise alarms if necessary.
