Sushi Sushi, Australia's largest sushi brand, is going through an exciting evolution and we're looking for an experienced retail operations leader to join us for the ride. 
The Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) is responsible for providing both leadership and support for a portfolio of franchised stores. This role is as much about helping our franchise partners and store teams to reach their full potential, as it is ensuring our brand processes and operating procedures are consistently achieved. Our strict standards around food safety, product quality, store presentation and service have helped us to become the most well-known sushi brand in the country, and the implementation of these standards depends heavily on our team of FBCs.
The ability to build great working relationships is critical for success in this role, as is an understanding of how to drive retail sales and profitability.
Tasks & Responsibilities Provide guidance and support to our Franchise Partners to help run their stores and grow sales and profitability.Review stores' product mix to ensure relevance to the demographic of consumers at each location.Support stores with local marketing opportunities to drive sales.Proactively work with Franchise Partners on cost management.Ensure compliance to all Sushi Sushi operating systems and standards.Analyse and report on sales and profitability performance to identify areas of improvement.Take on specific projects that arise for the expansion and improvement of our business.Deliver training and provide coaching to new and existing staff and Franchise Partners on a range of operational best-practices.Support other areas of the business in the communication and follow up with our stores and Franchise Partners.Proactively contribute to the broader Operations Team to share learnings and ensure group success.Qualifications & Experience Passionate about food retail and providing excellent customer experiences.Driven to achieve KPIs and ability to work as part of a dynamic and motivated team.Experience working in a retail operations role, ideally with direct interaction with store managers and teams.Experience working in a franchise model is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.An attitude of willingness to challenge status quo, always searching for better ways to do things, and an ability to keep eyes on the horizon while maintaining an attention to detail.If you are successful, you will be required to attend an interview, provide us with proof of identity and working rights in Australia.
