About Us: Peuker & Alexander is a 70-year-old family-owned and managed manufacturing business that supplies volume builders with prefabricated timber wall frames, roof trusses, and flooring systems. Operating out of three sites in Melbourne, we are a growing business looking to add an ambitious Technical Support / Customer Service Officer to our motivated team at our Campbellfield office.
Role Overview: In this role, you will work across departments providing customers with advice and technical direction on a wide range of supply, design, construction, and compliance issues. Additionally, you will help raise customer orders and order material/stock to ensure we meet delivery requirements and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Provide customers with technical advice and direction on supply, design, construction, and compliance issues.Raise customer orders and manage material/stock orders to meet delivery requirements and customer expectations.Collaborate with various departments to address customer needs and issues.Maintain accurate records and documentation. Requirements: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Willingness to tackle a variety of tasks daily.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Exceptional time management skills and ability to work to deadlines.Ability to prioritize work and think on your feet.Professional and friendly phone manner with clear and concise communication skills.Passion for and ability to deliver outstanding customer service.Knowledge of AS1684.2 is highly regarded.
