The Role:
A brand new opportunity has arisen for a FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst) to join our finance team in Melbourne. Working closely with the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in conducting analysis and reporting across the Group, identifying key insights to drive decision making and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
As our new FP&A Analyst, you'll have the chance to showcase your strong commercial focus and bring your passion for finance to life.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Being an integral part of the annual budget and forecast process, where you'll help with communication, consolidation, analysis, and reporting
Building strong relationships with the business through monthly reporting and insightful analysis of actuals vs. plan, presenting your findings to the P&L owners and helping drive decisions
Partnering with key stakeholders and supporting the FP&A Manager to understand key business drivers and identify future opportunities and issues
Conducting ad hoc analysis to support the business and enable decision making
Contributing to the production of impactful monthly board packs
Assisting with the management of reporting and planning systems (Oracle/PBCS) and being a part of continuous improvement efforts to align with best practice
Taking on exciting ad hoc projects as required.
About you:
CA/CPA with 3+ years post qualification experience
Experience in Oracle/PBCS or similar reporting tools (preferred)
Advanced excel knowledge and financial modelling skills
Strong analytical, planning and information presentation skills
Flexible to work across time zones as required
Ability to deal with multiple tasks and priorities
