FP+A Analyst - Calvary Health Care - Melbourne or Sydney basedThe FP+A Analyst's primary purpose is to review and analyse the financial results of Calvary Hospitals and assist the operations teams across Calvary with appropriate analysis and reporting to assist in decision-making. The organisation's values of hospitality, healing, stewardship, and respect are central to everything they do, ensuring a patient-centred approach that prioritises the dignity and needs of every individual.Calvary's culture fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, making it an ideal workplace for professionals who want to make a meaningful difference in healthcare.DescriptionThe FP+A Analyst will:Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasting in conjunction with the Finance Teams.Prepare monthly financial reports, analysis, and relevant commentary for internal stakeholders.Review variances between actuals and forecast and provide insights/feedback on material variances with support of the relevant internal stakeholders.Be actively involved in projects that require financial input, as directed.Assist with the preparation and analysis of relevant key business analytics through the use of Adaptive Insights, Data Hub, TechnologyOne, and other relevant visualisation and data analytics tools. Liaise with the data analytics team to resolve issues and provide updates to stakeholders where required.Assist with the preparation and management of relevant dashboards.Actively partner within the business to provide support on budgeting, forecasting, analysing management reporting, and responding to ad hoc queries and requests.Act as a key point of contact to the Services, including developing an understanding of hospital level management reporting with the ability to act as a support or backfill to Services where required.Provide the business with actionable insights across the hospital portfolio.Work collaboratively with the Procurement team to provide analysis on spend, savings achievements, missed savings, along with rebate performance and opportunities (including rebate accruals & reconciliation).ProfileThe ideal FP+A Analyst will be:CPA or CA Fully Qualified.Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically private hospitals, is highly desirable.Demonstrated analytical skills and strong attention to detail.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft programs, including Excel.Demonstrated ability to have a problem-solving mindset.Demonstrated flexibility and ability to prioritise and work under minimal supervision.Job OfferThe FP+A Analyst at Calvary Health Care can be located in Melbourne or Sydney, seeing as the Finance team is split between both offices.The role is paying between $130,000 - $150,000 TRP + NFP benefits.
