We're hiring a Founding Head of Operations to help us fuel our next stage of growth. You'll be joining a fast-growing company led by an experienced tech startup founder (previous company acquired by American Express). We have big dreams and ADHD is the first step in our long journey ahead.
You'll receive significant equity and an incredibly exciting opportunity to have a huge impact at an early stage. What you'll work on:Design and optimize scalable operational systems and processes to support the demands of a rapidly growing start-upImplement AI automations at every level of our operationsWork directly with our CEO/Founder every day and communicate seamlessly across teamsGrow your team - build and manage specialised functions as we grow, including mentoring high potential team members to ensure sustained operational excellenceProactively identify operational risks and implement robust mitigation strategies to ensure operational effectiveness before they become bottlenecksEstablish finance, people and legal systems, taking them from 0-1About You:Extreme ownership mentality – you care about the success of the business as much as you care about your work productEnthusiasm for strategy and execution – you see the big picture and keep the operational gears oiled and running seamlessly for today and tomorrowThrive on complexity – you can easily navigate ambiguous situations, develop practical solutions, and execute quickly and effectivelyCollaborative team-player – you have a 'yes-first' mentality and are willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in on other functionsExceptional project management and communication skills – you have a track record for scaling teams, projects, and processes, and communicating ideasThe role is hybrid remote/in-person at our Sydney CBD office.
