Foundation Recruitment has been exclusively retained to represent a local Darwin-based company, which are a well-known, industry-leading business delivering projects across the top end for a diverse range of clients including Defence, Government and Private.
We are currently seeking an Estimator who is eager to grow and support the company's strategic growth while contributing to exciting projects.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in the estimating process, with the added opportunity to expand your skills in project management and contracts management , providing variety in your responsibilities within a supportive team while carving out a long-term career in a thriving industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assist in producing high-quality tender and quotation documents that meet client requirements and industry standards. Analyse tender documents and contribute to strategic decision-making alongside the estimating team. Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and trade packages. Gain an understanding of contractual terms and conditions to support project delivery. Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless project execution and budgeting. What We're Looking For: A qualification in Quantity Surveying or relevant experience in building, construction, or manufacturing. A trade background is a bonus but not essential. Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Strong communication, time management, and organisational abilities. A self-motivated team player who thrives under deadlines.
