CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT PERMANENT SOUTHPORT - 25k-30k (DOE) Our client is a very well established full service law firm who are recruiting due to an internal promotion and continued expansion.
The role will involve supporting a team of Fee Earners with a busy Residential Conveyancing caseload.
They are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant and duties will include: Taking client calls and providing updates/dealing with basic queries Onboarding of clients and setting up new files on the LEAP system Completing AML checks and proof of funding checks Preparing certificates of title to lenders Submitting OS1s and K16s and Company Searches Preparing completion statements and bills Preparing bank payments Dealing with files on the day of completion Lodging charges at Companies House Preparing Notices to Freeholders/Management Companies Assisting Fee Earner as and when required with general caseload.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced Conveyancing environment and have strong communication and organisation skills.
Must have a minimum of 12 months Residential Conveyancing experience in order to hit the ground running and assist with running a busy caseload.
