About your new exciting role with us:
Supervise and mentor a team of Sheetmetal-qualified engineers Manage workflow to meet specifications and deadlines Provide leadership and direction to your engineering team, developing them into a high-performing team Prepare, review, and monitor policies, procedures, and work instructions Liaise with customers, auditors, and external parties as required Provide training, direction, support, and resources to persons reporting to this position to enable completion of their duties and correctly implement them Read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings, sketches, and work specifications Measure and mark Sheetmetal according to drawings and templates Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products Develop Sheetmetal components from prototyping to production Conduct regular Research & Development assignments Develop patterns for Sheetmetal, using computer-assisted design and drafting (CAD) software Program Laser, Brake Press, and Turret Machines to cut and fold Sheetmetal Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications Perform engineering calculations to support design work About you:
You will be a dynamic, innovative people leader within the steel/sheetmetal engineering space who is motivated by growth, team development, and customer success.
