Forklift Operator - Ormeau Location Asap Start

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team on the day shift. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for operating forklifts to load raw materials into rollforming machines and move finished products within our production facility. Additionally, you'll assist in maintaining smooth production flow by conducting routine maintenance on the equipment and ensuring the safe handling and quality of finished products.Key Responsibilities:Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to load raw materials into rollforming machines and move finished products to storage or staging areas. Ensure proper placement, handling, and transportation of materials at all times.Rollforming Machine Support: Assist in the operation of rollforming machines by loading and unloading materials, contributing to the production of patio components while ensuring specifications and quality standards are met.Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on rollforming equipment, identifying potential issues to minimise downtime and support smooth operations.Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, performing quality checks and making necessary adjustments to maintain production standards.Inventory Management: Ensure proper organisation of materials in the warehouse and production area, supporting accurate inventory management and smooth workflow.Experience and Skills Required:Forklift Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.Proactive Learner: Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to various roles within the production process, including operating rollforming machines and conducting quality checks.Attention to Detail: A keen eye for quality and the ability to identify defects in finished products while maintaining production standards.Strong Work Ethic: A dedicated approach to maintaining high-quality standards while ensuring safety procedures are always followed.Team Player: Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to the overall success of the production process.What We Offer:Competitive hourly rate of $32.25.Full-time, stable hours on the day shift (6:30 AM - 2:36 PM), Monday to Friday.Opportunities to develop new skills, with potential for career growth in the manufacturing and forklift operation fields.A supportive and collaborative team environment.How to Apply: If you're a skilled forklift operator with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, we'd love to hear from you!
