The Despatch Forklift Operator plays a critical role in supporting the sales and despatch team by ensuring all products are loaded and prepared for despatch in accordance with company policies & procedures, and customer requirements. Ensure stock is rotated and handled in an appropriate manner.
Key Responsibilities Operate forklift to load and unload timber from trucks or storage areas.Transport timber to designated areas within the site.Coordinate with the despatch team to prepare and dispatch orders.Ensure that all outgoing products are correctly labelled, documented, and match the dispatch orders.Maintain accurate records of dispatch operations, including stock levels.Report any discrepancies in stock levels to the team.Ensure proper placement, handling, and rotation of stock and resolve logistical issues and report outcomes.Inspect goods for damage or defects before dispatch.Ensure that all products meet quality standards before being dispatched.Ideally, the successful candidate will have Forklift Licence (mandatory).Previous experience as Despatch Forklift Operator.Manage time effectively, set priorities, plan, and organise workloads, and achieve specified outcomes within a limited timeframe.Demonstrate a high level of communication skills including listening, verbal, and written.Competent user of information and communication technology.Who we are: AAM Investment Group is an Australian owned and operated business, managing a range of agricultural assets across Australia.
