Forklift Operator

Norco are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team at our busy ice cream factory in Lismore!
We currently have several casual positions on offer.

Work for a successful, secure and reputable Australian companyBe a part of a friendly, supportive and hardworking teamOn the job training providedEnjoy a competitive hourly rate shift penalties and 28.3% casual loadingKey responsibilities of this position: Forklift operation, including stacking and transferring pallets and loading/unloading trucks.Stock rotation.Ensure that all food safety, quality assurance, and GMP policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.Ensure the work area is clean, safe and organised.To be successful in this role you will need: Forklift licence and 1-2 years forklift operator experience.Ability to work day, afternoon and night shifts as rostered.Sound understanding of workplace health and safety and the ability to work in a safe manner.Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude as well as advanced problem solving skills.The ability to work in a team environment.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Demonstrated punctuality and reliability.Ability to accurately complete paperwork with good attention to detail.Display behaviours that are consistent with Norco Co-Operative's values of Authenticity, Agility, Diversity and Connection.Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test.If you feel that you are the right candidate for this role, we would love to hear from you!
