Team Global Express understand that good Forklift Operators are a rare resource that need to be respected and valued. We have exciting full time permanent opportunities for Forklift Operators for our Launceston depot. As a Forklift Operator, you will be loading and unloading general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner. What you'll do This is a Full-Time position, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week Accurately sort and load freight into designated dock areas and onto delivery vehicles with a high degree of accuracy Be able to handle freight items manually and safely as required. Be able to use technology to an efficient standard and be able to operate inhouse scanner devices and ensure that any Dangerous Goods to be loaded are segregated and restrained accordingly Load and unload general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner What you'll bring You must hold a current and valid LF Forklift License. Must have previous experience in a similar role Ability to handle freight – manual lifting of up to 16kgs Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes An inclusive workplace, works for everyone We celebrate difference.
