Your new role Centurion Transport in Redbank is currently seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our operations team full-time as a Freight Officer.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling and receipt of freight, responsible for loading, unloading and restraining general freight of all sizes.

Culture and Benefits Immediate Start Available Monday to Friday, 9am starts - potential for overtime Permanent Full-time All PPE and uniforms provided, including steel cap boots Strong team and safety culture Ongoing training and career development with extraordinary opportunities on a national scale Tasks & Responsibilities Operating various sized counterbalance forklifts (2.5T, 7T and 16T) Processing various types of general freight from beginning to end (palletised, ugly and oversize) Secure and restrain all loads as per the load restraint guide, with straps and chains Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch Guaranteeing freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times Requirements of the role Current Forklift Licence (LF) Experience with general ugly/oversize freight Use of straps, binders and chains to restrain loads Ability to take direction from management and supervisors Preferred scanning experience Customer service and communication skills Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values Who is Centurion?
