Forklift Operator / Customer Service Officer

The role This fast-paced role needs someone who has the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities with the ability to effectively communicate with other branches, customers, and transport companies to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
Reporting to the Sales Representative, you will be working as part of a friendly team who will help you learn about our products and systems. Your main role will be working in our warehouse and yard, maintaining good housekeeping in all areas of the site, making up orders, loading and unloading trucks, loading walk-in customers' vehicles, and utilising our forklifts. Another element of the role involves working in a busy Customer Service environment where you will be answering calls, talking to and servicing walk-in customers, entering orders, providing dispatch support, liaising with delivery drivers, and working with our other branch dispatch teams to meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities Coordinating and dispatching deliveries to customers.Assisting with customer enquiries and orders via email, phone, and walk-ins.General administrative duties such as data entry and filing.Making up orders and loading trucks ensuring this is done in a safe manner.Ensuring Adbri's safety and COR responsibilities are kept.What you will need to succeed Forklift Licence (essential).Previous experience in a Logistics/Warehouse environment (highly regarded).High attention to detail.Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt and liaise with both internal and external parties.Experience with MS Office.Experience with SAP system (highly desirable).Have a 'can do attitude' and be able to work with a team as well as autonomously as and when required.Our business Adbri Masonry is Australia's leading concrete products manufacturer supplying quality concrete bricks, blocks, pavers, retaining walls, erosion control products, and architectural masonry solutions.
