Forklift Mechanic / Automotive Mechanic

Join our dynamic team at a Dealership in Mackay as a Forklift Mechanic/Automotive Mechanic. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to service and maintain a fleet of Hyundai forklifts, EWPs, golf buggies, laundry trolleys, and other machinery for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain, service, and repair forklifts, EWPs, and other machinery Fault finding and diagnosis on forklifts and similar equipment Handle job creation, quoting, recording time and parts used Complete service records and jobs efficiently Basic understanding of auto electrics Ensure compliance with legislative requirements for high-risk equipment Requirements: Driver's Licence: Essential, as you'll be provided a vehicle for on-site visits within Central Queensland Experience: Previous experience with forklifts, machinery, or diesel equipment Auto Electrics Knowledge: Basic understanding required Pre-Employment Medical & Drug Test: Must be able to pass Good Attendance Record: Critical for success in this small business Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical: Highly advantageous Competitive salary based on experience, with the opportunity for negotiation Work vehicle provided for travel to various sites Majority of work is town-based in Mackay, with some workshop duties #J-18808-Ljbffr
