Forklift Driver / Labourer - Events

Locations: MCEC and Melbourne Showgrounds $31.23- 35.00 per hour depending on role (Flat Rate) Shifts available starting Thursday Work for a logistics company that services the event and exhibition industry.
Based either at MCEC or Melbourne Showgrounds, this role is perfect for you if you aren't looking for full-time work and are happy to work when events are on.
As a high-volume forklift driver, you will be responsible for unloading and loading trucks, as well as delivering freight to stands within exhibition halls.
The spotter will assist you in navigating the congested and busy halls in a safe and timely manner.
You must have a valid forklift license and have been driving for 12+ months, working within logistics or in tight areas and deadline-driven environments.
The Labourer/Spotter role is quite physical as you will be loading or unloading boxes onto pallets, as well as performing other ad-hoc duties and spotting for the forklift drivers to navigate the congested and busy halls.Once you have completed the standard safety inductions, you will be responsible for providing our clients with a high standard of safety and care.You will have:
Ability to lift 10 kilograms from the floor to waist level Positive attitude and motivation Availability on weekends Ability to work independently and in a team environment This role is casual and ad-hoc.
