A&J Australia is looking for dynamic self-starting individuals to join our team at our facility based in Wetherill Park, N.S.W.
Looking for Day shift 8 am to 4 pm, Afternoon shift from 4 pm to 12 am, and Night shift from 12 am to 8 am, 5 days a week.
Your main responsibilities will include: Sorting of plastic bottles for grinding. Understanding the different types of materials when grinding bottles. Sorting good bottles from bad when grinding. Sorting packaging materials such as cardboard trays and boxes before throwing out for recycling. Providing relief on lunch breaks when needed, and processing lines. Cleaning the work area and site, and performing general maintenance on grinders. Ensuring full compliance with safety policies and procedures. Understanding the operations of grinding machinery and conveyors. Raising any safety hazards or issues with the team and a member of the management where required. A forklift licence is needed to move pallets at times. Having sufficient strength for lifting; physically strong. To be considered for this role, you must: Be safety conscious. Be able to work within a small team and alone. Have production line and/or process line experience desired but not necessary. Salary: Day shift: starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. The hourly wage is A$32. Afternoon shift: starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 12 a.m. The hourly wage is A$36.80. Night shift: starts at 12 a.m. and ends at 8 a.m. The hourly wage is A$41.60. Job Types: Full-time, Casual
