Job summary: We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating forklifts, along with significant experience in administration, RF scanning, inventory management, dispatch, and team leadership.
This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations in our warehouse and distribution center.
Key Responsibilities: Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse or distribution center. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as data entry, record keeping, and managing paperwork related to inventory and shipping. RF Scanning: Use RF scanning technology to track and manage inventory accurately.
Ensure all items are scanned and recorded in the system. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate reporting of inventory status.
Address discrepancies and coordinate with the inventory team to resolve issues. Dispatch Duties: Prepare and organize shipments for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping processes. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety standards. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all team members follow safety procedures. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of [2] years of experience operating forklifts, with a proven track record in administrative functions, RF scanning, inventory management, dispatch, and team leadership. Certifications: Valid forklift operator certification and any other relevant certifications. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and standard office software (e.g., MS Office). Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Experience in supervising and motivating a team is essential. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory and ensure accuracy in all tasks.
