Our Broken Hill Depot is seeking a full-time Foreperson who is also a qualified heavy diesel mechanic interested in building a successful career. This role is standalone and does not involve managing a team, as you will be the only heavy diesel mechanic on site. To succeed in this position, you should be dedicated to delivering high-quality work, and have the ability to ensure that your site operates according to schedule.
Working on our large fleet of modern buses, you will be responsible for all aspects of bus maintenance, including scheduled and unscheduled servicing and diagnosis, reporting and repairing vehicle faults. Hold a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (experience within the bus industry will be advantageous) – or equivalent qualification. A Heavy Vehicle Licence (or be willing and able to obtain).
