Paint & Blast Trades Assistant is responsible for carrying out all aspects of abrasive blasting, protective coating, and heavy equipment painting whilst complying with the Safety, Health, and Environment Management System. This is a full-time permanent position that will suit a candidate with a high level of attention to detail that takes pride in their work.

Carry out Paint and Blast repairs and upgrade improvements to the Rental equipment fleet as required. Prepare abrasive Paint & Blast earth moving equipment, unsupervised. Apply two pack systems to structural steel and machinery. Blast, prime and paint within job specifications. General housekeeping and yard clean up as required. Ensure that all works completed are in line with our safety plan. Monitor quality of all work performed. What are you bringing to the table?
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia (No sponsorship available) Current Australian driver's licence (mandatory) Demonstrated experience with Industrial Painting & Blasting in a workshop environment. Previous experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment (highly regarded) Able to pull down equipment in readiness for surface preparation. A high commitment and understanding of safety procedures and their importance. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet set deadlines. The ability to work cohesively and collaboratively in a small team.
