Location ProfileAn Outstanding Opportunity To Work In A PPP School Offering State-Of-The-Art facilities Featherbrook P - 9 College is located in Point Cook, adjacent to the Featherbrook Community Centre. The school opened in term 1, 2017, constructed through a Public Private Partnership which supports an optimal learning environment as well as enrichment of curriculum programs. The school includes a Community Hub managed by the YMCA and facilities supporting community programs.

SC2: Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
SC3: Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning using data to inform teaching practice.
SC4: Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills in establishing collaborative relationships.
SC5: Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values.
RoleThe classroom teacher classification comprises two salary ranges- range 1 and range 2. The primary focus of the classroom teacher is on the planning, preparation, and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesThe role of classroom teacher may include but is not limited to:
Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.Contributing to the development and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program.Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, and excursions.Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum area(s).
