The Opportunity We currently have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and capable Food Technologist to join our R&D team, reporting to the Senior Food Technologist.
The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to: New product development from ideation through to implementation and launchAt ideation phase, work with commercial business leaders to explore consumer and customer insights and translate them into quality product solutionsDevelop products that meet quality, regulatory, financial and launch targets and are technically feasible in the supply chain networkRapid prototyping of product design options to assess customer acceptance using appropriate research methodsDevelop experimental trial plans to test and validate new productsDevelop and implement product specifications across the portfolio and ensure specifications are maintainedProactively explore flavour and fruit trends and appropriate technologies to create innovative productsParticipate in innovation workshops with key customers bringing flavour and concept innovation to themCollaborate with external and internal stakeholders to identify product and process cost savings opportunitiesDevelop and deliver annual cost savings plans.The Successful Candidate Will Have Degree in Food Technology or related Science and/or Engineering.Preferably 2 – 5 years' experience working in Food Technologist or QA rolesStrong written and verbal communication, planning, and organisation skillsProven analytical and problem-solving skillsCapable of working independently and staying organised while assuming multiple responsibilities and tasksThis role requires travel to multiple sites.Our Culture Our employees come from all walks of life, across many cultures and backgrounds.
