Key Responsibilities of Food Services Worker: Prepare and serve meals to patients according to dietary requirements. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Assist with kitchen duties such as washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing storage areas. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient dietary needs. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. Requirements for Food Services Worker: Previous experience in food services or a similar role preferred. Certificate in Food Handling or equivalent is desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Skills and Experience: Demonstrate willingness to commit to the mission, philosophy and values of Grampians Health Stawell. Relevant qualifications in Cleaning Standards or equivalent experience or demonstrated ability to grasp and learn these skills. Demonstrate the ability to achieve a high level of attention to detail and accuracy of work, particularly in the processing and recording of clerical information and data. Demonstrated ability for effective time-management, planning and organisational skills and an understanding of how to meet deadlines. Demonstrate possession of positive interpersonal skills and a team-work approach, including the ability to communicate with a broad range of people. Demonstrate a willingness to develop knowledge of the Support Service work environment and the role it plays in the delivery of services to patients, residents and clients of Grampians Health Stawell.
