Tasks include: Working within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining daily and periodic cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areas Serving residents meals in dining hall services and trolley service to rooms, washing dishes, sandwich making, providing cups of tea or coffee to residents and their visitors Provide feedback regarding residents' likes and dislikes regarding menu planning and escalate any observations or concerns in residents conditions Promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise About you: This is the place for you if you: Have experience and expertise working in food service; preferably in a health, hotel or aged care setting Casual opportunity working various shifts from 6am - 7pm with availability to work at least 1-3 shifts a fortnight Part Time opportunity working a range of various shifts from 6am - 7pm 64 hours a fortnight Can work at a fast pace as part of a team Are experienced in customer service and provide excellent standard of service Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the B E S T way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check card / Vulnerable People card Current and ongoing flu vaccinations Australian working rights Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
