As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include: Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required. Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture. Provide high standard of customer service Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients Previous experience in a hospital hospitality setting (desirable) Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable) Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements Commitment to service excellence. Strong communication and customer skills Work well independently and within a team Flexibility / Ability to work early/ late shifts and weekend work Available for on call shifts Why Healthscope?
