About the Role: Looking for an exciting casual opportunity within a dynamic college environment? We're currently on the lookout for a skilled Food Services Assistant to join our team in January 2025!
As a Food Services Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our college's food service department. Your responsibilities will involve assisting with various tasks across our multiple food outlets, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
What we're looking for: Proven team player with a professional, courteous demeanourExcellent communication skills for interaction with both adults and studentsKnowledge and experience in maintaining hygiene standards, especially in food preparationBasic culinary skills and proficiency in stock control and rotationBarista qualifications are a must!Food handling certificate is requiredPossession of a valid Blue Card as per the Working with Children Act 2000Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and occasional eveningsAlignment with the college's philosophy, policies, and Anglican ethosIn addition, you'll need to: Maintain flexibility in working hours to meet operational needsBe open to modifications in the role as per the college's requirementsAdhere to Our Commitment: Creating Environments for Children and Young People to Thrive – A Code of Conduct for Anglican Schools and Education & Care ServicesUndergo a check against the Anglican Church National Professional Standards Register (applicable to candidates over 18)If you're enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about contributing to a vibrant college community, we want to hear from you!
