About Northern Beaches Hospital
Northern Beaches Hospital provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients.
The hospital features 486 beds, 50-bed Emergency Department, 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs, world-class education centre, doctors lounge and excellent staff facilities including café and car parking.
Northern Beaches Hospital Food Service departments is looking to employ casual Food Services Assistants to join their busy department ASAP.
You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include: Assist in preparation of food trays for patient consumptionDeliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays in accordance to established meal schedulesAssist in daily food preparation and basic meal assemblyClean and sanitize food service equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standardsSelection Criteria: Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)Prior experience in Healthcare Food ServicesDemonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a teamFlexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend workEmployee Benefits: Wellness benefits, Employee Assistance Program, free services including medical examination of employees and discounted Healthscope services for permanent employees and immediate family.OneHealthscope rewards programVariety of leave options, salary packaging, airline/club membershipDiscounted onsite parking at Northern Beaches Hospital and access to Fitness Passport!Applications close: 7 February 2025 To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
